Google predicts explosive growth in Latin America
I recently came across this Google research piece that confirms or atleast validates expandeer's assertation on the digital market opportunity in Latin America. Basically that online advertising and e-commerce are waking up in Latin America. Interesting points include:
• Internet usage in Latin America and the Caribbean grew nearly 891% between 2000 and 2009.
• Out of nearly 2 billion worldwide Internet users, almost 200 million are in Latin America.
